STARTING  GRADUATE  STUDY::

Upon admission to the graduate program, a student pursuing the master's degree must meet with the ECE Director of Graduate
Studies who will act as a temporary faculty advisor. The Director will advise the student on
some of the appropriate courses for the major in which the student is interested.
To assist students in reaching their goals without undue delay, the following course lists have
been selected. Students should not take courses outside these lists without consulting a graduate
faculty advisor; because not all courses may readily apply to the degree requirements for a
particular major. Student may choose majors and minors from any one area of specialization
listed below.

By the time an M.S.E. student has completed 12-semester hours, he/she should meet with an
advisor (listed below) and plan all courses for the degree program and have the
Plan of Study completed and approved.

Once admitted, a Ph.D. student will be assigned a temporary advisor who will help the student  take applicable courses.Please see the Flow Chart for comlete procedure.
