A student is permitted to repeat a course for credit if it is (1) designated
in the Timetable with the phrase "May be repeated for credit" or (2) a
course in which a grade of C or lower was received. In the latter case,
the course may be repeated only once and may be counted only once toward
the degree requirements; the original grade continues to be included in
the computation of the grade point average. Approval of both the
instructors of the course and the department chair is required.
